Gravity spirals: lowering products with no energy and no maintenance
Industrial chutes and gravity spirals are simple mechanical solutions that use gravitational force for the controlled lowering of products between levels. They consume no electricity, have no moving parts that wear out quickly and need no frequent maintenance — they are reliable and economical solutions for descending height differences.
A gravity spiral consists of an inclined helical chute, on which products slide or roll from the upper level to the lower one. The diameter, pitch and incline of the spiral are calculated according to the shape, weight and desired speed of the product. The products are controlled by the incline and material of the chute.
