SELF TRUST is a Romanian, entirely privately-owned company, founded in 1999 in Iași. From a distributor of industrial consumables in the Moldova region, it developed continuously until becoming a manufacturer of conveyors, conveyor belts and metal fabrications — with projects delivered on five continents.
We offer customized solutions for each client — from conveyor production and the design of complex conveying systems, to turnkey solutions, integration, industrial robotics and the distribution of consumables.

Automation and robot integration
Automation solutions and integration of industrial robots into production lines. As part of our research and development activity, we ran the ROSY LOGISTIC project — an autonomous mobile robot system, in partnership with the "Gh. Asachi" Technical University of Iași.

Own workshop for wide belts and conveyor belts, up to 3,050 mm, spliced mechanically, thermally (Habasit technology) or mixed.

Building on its experience in industrial conveying systems, SELF TRUST developed the international division CITCOnveyors, specialized in the design and implementation of Baggage Handling Systems for airports.
The division develops complete solutions for the transport and sorting of baggage, including check-in systems, conveyors, baggage carousels and the integration of security equipment, with projects implemented on several continents.

1999
Founding of SELF TRUST, in Iași
The company is founded with entirely private capital, developing into one of the largest distributors of industrial consumables in the Moldova region.
2001
In-house production workshop
To meet the demand for the requested products — conveyor belts and wide polyamide belts — an in-house production workshop is set up.
2004
Branch in București
The growing demand from the central region of the country makes it necessary to open a new branch in București.
2005
Becomes a conveyor manufacturer
SELF TRUST becomes a manufacturer of conveyors and conveyor belts, designed according to client requirements and built in its own workshop.
2010–2020
Development of complex automation projects and expansion of the product and service portfolio.
The CITCOnveyors division and the international market
2020–present
Expansion of international projects through the CITCOnveyors division (airportconveyors.eu), the company specializes in baggage handling systems for airports, with over 100 projects delivered in 40+ countries. and the consolidation of SELF TRUST's position as a Romanian manufacturer of industrial and airport conveying systems.
Innovation and expansion
Launch of the research project competition and, through the ROSY LOGISTIC project carried out with the "Gh. Asachi" Technical University of Iași, obtaining a patent for an autonomous mobile robot.
