Food-grade conveyor belts: direct product contact, no hygiene compromises
Food-grade belts are made of PU polyurethane, PVC, PP or metal. The absence of plasticizers eliminates the risk of chemicals migrating into the product — the basic condition for direct food contact. The surface is cleaned completely with hot water and alkaline detergents, with no porosities where bacteria can accumulate.
SELF TRUST delivers food-grade belts in the versions most used in the industry: white smooth for direct product contact, textured for grip on inclines, micro-grip for small and fragile products, and matte to limit reflection in visual inspection areas. All versions are available with continuous or mechanical splicing.
