Când este mai potrivită o bandă modulară decât una clasică?

Când traseul are curbe sau este spiralat, când banda este spălată frecvent și trebuie să se usuce rapid, când produsul este fierbinte sau abraziv și când o deteriorare locală nu trebuie să scoată din uz toată banda. Dezavantajul este suprafața cu interstiții, nepotrivită pentru produse foarte mici.

Cum se repară o bandă modulară deteriorată?

Se scot bolțurile din zona afectată, se înlocuiesc doar modulele deteriorate și se remontează. Reparația se face pe loc, în câteva minute, fără demontarea completă a benzii și fără echipamente speciale — spre deosebire de o bandă clasică, unde o ruptură impune, de regulă, o îmbinare nouă sau înlocuirea integrală.

Modular belts: route flexibility, low maintenance costs

plastic modular belts are built from rectangular modules assembled with transverse rods. Unlike continuous belts, each module can be replaced individually, without dismantling the whole belt. This dramatically reduces maintenance costs and downtime in the event of localized wear.

The main structural advantage of modular belts is the ability to make horizontal-plane curves with small radii, without using corner wheels or transfer tables. The modular chain deflects on special rollers, allowing routes with 90 or 180 degree curves directly on the conveyor. The surface can be flat, with rollers (roller top) for zero-pressure accumulation, or with grip for inclines.
